A born and raised Filipino, Peegee San Diego Silo's passion for photography started not so long ago.  He was just your ordinary, vacationing tourist, snapping away with his point and shoot, documenting his trips.  Little did he know that it would spark a greater fire in him. He began to see the world around him in a much different way.

With no formal training in photography, just books and magazines, he began to learn the craft and is still continuously learning it.  He gets a lot of help from some good friends in the Flickr community, where he finds his inspirations and shares his passion.

Today, Peegee travels around the world, shooting landscapes and occasionally different subjects.  He has been working on portraitures and macro images, but his real love is capturing his country’s beautiful people, particularly the children.  He has instilled in his mind that through his lens, he could ignite the passions of others to join the cause in creating a more just and humane environment, not only in his neighaborhood, but around the world.  He has realized that this tool is a powerful medium to send out his message. 

Peegee has contributed works for a magazine cover and image collections for global issues on poverty, as well as a for a travel & vacation site in Europe.
